Natisha Hiedeman Signs with Seattle Storm

HIEDEMAN

After two seasons with the Minnesota Lynx, guard Natisha Hiedeman is on the move to a new team ahead of the 2026 season. After a social media post saying goodbye to the Lynx on Friday, news broke that Hiedeman would be heading west after agreeing to sign with the Seattle Storm. Khristina Williams of GirlsTalkSportsTV first reported the news of the signing, later confirmed by ESPN’s Alexa Philippou as a two-year contract.

Hiedeman took her game up a notch in 2025, her seventh season in the WNBA and second with the Lynx. Oh, and she took things up a notch off the court as well as one half of the famous StudBudz that took over the basketball world last summer.

Hiedeman appeared in all 44 regular season games for Minnesota in 2025, coming off the bench in each of those contests but still having an impressive campaign. Hiedeman averaged 9.1 PPG, 2.8 APG, 1.9 RPG and 0.7 SPG over 18.9 MPG, enough to earn her Most Improved Player and Sixth Player of the Year votes.

Hiedeman will continue to provide that spark this summer, having the ability to help her squad with an offensive lift, a deep-ball threat and a player that can push the pace and bring the energy every single night. And she will get the opportunity to do so with an expanded role in Seattle.
