WNBA Partners with STARRY for Three-Point Contest

On Wednesday morning, the WNBA (along with the NBA and the G-League) announced a new wrinkle in their partnership with PepsiCo, inking a deal to make STARRY—the recently unveiled lemon lime flavored soda—the official soft drink of the league.

STARRY’s largest exposure will come at the W’s All-Star weekend on July 14-15, 2023, where the Three-Point Contest will include the STARRY Range, two shots six feet beyond the furthest perimeter shot.

Two-time MVP and defending champion A’ja Wilson will represent the brand, with collaborations to come. As charismatic off the court as she is talented on it, Wilson adds STARRY to her impressive resume of endorsements, which includes Nike and other PepsiCo products like Ruffles and Gatorade. She also appeared in a Saweetie music video ahead of the 2021 season.

Hopefully we see the Aces’ superstar, who is unequivocally the face of the WNBA, in a STARRY ad in the coming months. The NBA has several athletes also involved with the campaign: Zach LaVine, Klay Thompson, and Zion Williamson.
