Damiris Dantas to Sign with Indiana Fever

Damiris Dantas is signing a two-year deal with the Indiana Fever, as first reported by Howard Megdal of The Next Hoops

Dantas, 31, is returning to the WNBA after a season away from the league. Dantas has played in parts of 10 seasons, most recently for the Minnesota Lynx from 2019-2022. Dantas has always had decent outside shooting (career 34.1 percent from deep) for her 6’3” frame, and will provide the Fever with a back up to Aliyah Boston and a floor spacer. During the 2022 season, Dantas averaged 5.1 points per game (PPG), 3.8 rebounds per game (RPG), and 1.9 assists per game (APG).

For her career, Dantas is averaging 7.7 PPG, 4.3 RPG, and 1.6 APG on 42.5 percent shooting.
