Isabelle Harrison is expected to sign with the Chicago Sky, sources confirmed to our Rachel Galligan on Thursday.
Harrison, 29, was drafted 12th overall in the 2015 draft by the Phoenix Mercury. After making her debut with the team in 2016, Harrison was traded to the San Antonio Stars in 2017 before being traded again in 2019 (by the then Las Vegas Aces) to the Dallas Wings, where she has played for the past four seasons. In 2022, she won the Community Assist Award for her contributions to the community.
Last season, Harrison averaged 8.7 points per game, 1.3 assists per game, and 4.3 rebounds per game on 46.6 percent shooting. For her career, Harrison has averaged 8.6 points per game, 1.1 assists per game, and 4.9 rebounds per game on 49.0 percent shooting.
Harrison joins a Sky team that is undergoing lots of change this offseason. Kahleah Copper is the only veteran holdover from Chicago’s 2021 championship team, along with youngsters Dana Evans and Ruthy Hebard. Sky general manager James Wade recently reached an agreement with Courtney Williams, the always-smiling shooting guard formerly with Connecticut.
